The Powerful Role of Play in Early Education

We are thrilled to announce an in-person California Preschool Instructional Network (CPIN) professional learning session for preschool, TK, and early childhood special education staff, focusing on the pivotal California Department of Education publication, “The Powerful Role of Play in Early Education.”

Join the Sonoma County CPIN instructional team as we explore and discuss the critical role play-based learning serves in supporting children’s development and debunk common myths about play and learning.

Each participant will receive a copy of the document, earn three workforce registry professional learning hours, and have the opportunity to participate in an interactive 3-part Community of Practice virtual series to take a deeper dive on the topics of the importance of risk-taking in children’s play, using play to support inclusion, and using a trauma-informed approach to play-based learning.

Plan for a  hands-on, minds-on learning experience during this free session.  Slots are limited, so please enroll early to reserve your spot!

If you have a Workforce Registry account and would like to earn professional learning hours, please use this LINK to register.
