2024-25 Building Thinking Classrooms Teacher Collaborative

The 2024-25 Building Thinking Classrooms Teacher Collaborative offers middle school and high school educators an immersive training experience in the implementation of Building Thinking Classrooms practices. Over the course of three days, teachers will receive comprehensive instruction and guidance on integrating BTC methodologies into their teaching practices.

Each day, participants will have dedicated time to apply their BTC knowledge by developing tasks, lessons, or units tailored to their specific classroom needs. To ensure continuous growth and support, educators will also receive just-in-time coaching assistance as they implement BTC strategies in their classrooms during the 2024-25 school year.

Collaboration is key in this learning journey. Teachers are strongly encouraged to attend with a colleague from their school, fostering teamwork and allowing for the collaborative planning and prototyping of BTC tasks for the upcoming 2024-25 school year. But all applicants will be considered.

Who should apply?

  • Classroom teachers of grades 6-12.
  • Teachers that have basic knowledge of Building Thinking Classrooms. Extensive experience with Building Thinking Classrooms is NOT required.

What is the commitment?
