Sonoma County Office of Education

SCOE Virtual Summer Institute 2021

Please save the dates for the 2021 SCOE Virtual Summer Institute: Tuesday - Thursday, July 27-29, 2021

Over the past 9 years, the Sonoma County Office of Education has hosted a teaching and learning summer institute to allow local educators to think deeply about transforming learning experiences for students. To prepare for the 2021-22 academic year, SCOE will once again offer a virtual learning institute for teachers, counselors, administrators, and paraprofessionals to reconnect, rejuvenate, and reimagine what's necessary and possible for TK-12 education.

The 10th annual Institute will be conducted virtually on July 27th-29th. There is no cost to participate, and teacher stipends will be made available to Sonoma County teachers and counselors who choose to engage in post-Institute work related to their learning. While it is not required, we strongly encourage attendees to participate in the Institute as part of a school or district team so that you can get the added benefit of a shared learning experience.

We sincerely hope that you and members of your district will make plans to join us for this reimagined Institute.
