NCSOE Designated Subjects Program

Earning The Clear Designated Subjects CTE or AE Credential

In order to clear the Preliminary Credential, CTE & AE teachers participate in NCSOE’s Designated Subjects Credential Program. Each teaching credential has a unique set of standards that must be met in order to obtain the California Clear Credential. Coursework is a combination of synchronous (zoom) and asynchronous sessions. Upon completion of NCSOE's Designated Subjects Program and credential requirements, candidates are eligible for a recommendation for their Clear Credential.
