Temperature Screenings for Staff and Visitors

To comply with state requirements and ensure the health and safety of our staff, SCOE is implementing temperature screenings for all staff and visitors.

SCOE licensed vocational nurses (LVNS) or other staff as needed will be on hand to take the temperature of employees and visitors as they arrive at Skylane as well as other SCOE sites that are operational. If someone has a temperature of 100 degrees or higher, they will be sent home and asked to contact their doctor.

Skylane Procedure

An LVN will be on-site at the Skylane facility beginning Monday, Aug. 10 from 8:00am to 2:00pm. Between 8:00am and 9:00am, the LVN will be stationed in the lobby to take temperatures as staff arrives. For the remainder of the day, the LVN will be stationed in the Transition classroom adjacent to the Design Lab. Staff or visitors will report to that room as they arrive to have their temperatures taken. Visitors should call the front desk at 707-524-2600 when they arrive. Once admitted, they will be sent directly to be checked before being allowed to enter the rest of the building. If you are scheduling a visitor, please notify them of this policy.

Amarosa, Headwaters, Mendocino, LaBath, and El Colegio - Screenings Coming Soon

Beginning soon, an LVN or school support staff will be on hand to conduct a brief temperature check and screening as staff and visitors arrive.
