Celebrating SCOE's Team Player, Kenna Kitamura
SCOE's Personnel Commission is pleased to announce that Kenna Kitamura, Program Specialist Technician II at the North Coast School of Education, has been selected as this year's Team Player. The annual award recognizes a SCOE employee who demonstrates outstanding performance, integrity, and customer service.
As Program Specialist Technician II, Kenna coordinates North Coast's communications efforts and works behind the scenes to make sure NCSOE programs run smoothly.
"(Kenna) leads each of our programs through monthly iterations of the e-news and her background in communication and design makes it easy and efficient," her nomination reads. "She supports all of our programs from invoicing to setting up all of our Zoom links for the intern program and induction, to processing enrollment. There is no job that Kenna can't or won't do. Kenna's dedication and hard work have not gone unnoticed by her colleagues, and she has truly earned their respect and admiration."
We will honor Kenna during a reception hosted by the Personnel Commission at 4 p.m., Monday, May 22, in the Redwood C conference room.
Kenna was one of seven outstanding employees nominated for Team Player. We would like to recognize and thank all the nominees for their hard work. Congratulations to nominees Stefania Cappi, Angie Duplicki, Sarah French, Rene Hernandez, Kimberly Lingle, and Erica Vuong.
