100 Signs for Parents & Teachers

This collection of about 100 short videos illustrates the American Sign Language (ASL) signs for commonly used words, numbers, and the alphabet. The videos are intended to assist parents and school staff in communicating with deaf/hard of hearing students who use ASL. The videos were produced by Moises Escorcia-Alvarez, a student in Santa Rosa High School’s ArtQuest program who is supported by SCOE’s Deaf/Hard of Hearing program. Deaf/Hard of Hearing Specialist Ann Dexheimer supervised the project in concert with ArtQuest teacher Jim Helmer.
