SCOE supports and facilitates opportunities that bring district superintendents together for collaboration, professional learning, and shared problem-solving. Meetings are scheduled throughout the year, as described below.
Superintendents from Sonoma County’s 40 school districts meet monthly to discuss topics of interest. Several times per year, meetings are held in job-alike groupings so that superintendents from single-school districts, elementary districts, and unified/secondary districts can share common issues and solutions.
Leadership 40 monthly meetings are held on Fridays at SCOE. A steering committee selects topics and sets monthly meeting agendas.
