LCAP Professional Development Series -
Session 3

This workshop series will be geared towards new superintendents, CBOs and C&I Directors, but all are welcome. Series will provide a foundational overview of the LCAP, educational partner engagement strategies, metrics and dashboard local indicators, LCAP 101, writing tutorials, and action training. This presentation will be 90 minutes with time for questions.

 

Session 3 will focus on LCAP Metrics and Local Dashboard Indicators

- Nexus between LCAP metrics and Local Indicators

- Includes writing component-Hands-on activity to consider how to revise your metrics and indicators

- Using the Youth Truth Survey results

Through its validated survey instruments, YouthTruth, a national nonprofit, harnesses student perceptions to help educators and community partners accelerate improvements. In the month of January 2023, we'll hear from Sonoma County students, parents, and school staff across 142 school sites in 30 school districts. This workshop will leverage YouthTruth data to meet LCAP goals and requirements across state priorities.
