Counting Collections in the Early Elementary Classroom
Join us as we explore hands-on ways that counting collections can transform the early elementary math classroom. In this three part series geared toward TK-2nd grade educators, we will explore how to deeply and creatively engage children in number sense, operations, and mathematical reasoning through counting collections, choral counting and the use of storybooks in math. We will also discuss ways that counting collections can transform students' math understanding and partnerships with families.
