UPK Project-Based Learning Community of Practice '23-'24

Project-Based Learning empowers children to develop social-emotional and cross-curricular skills as they investigate topics that are meaningful to their lives. The UPK Project-Based Learning Community of Practice (CoP) is open to teams of administrators and teachers (preschool, TK, or Kindergarten) from both elementary schools and preschools. Participants will engage in year-long professional development and receive ongoing coaching focused on developing play-based, project-based learning units aligned with the California Preschool Learning Foundations and Kindergarten Standards. There will be an in-person public exhibition in May 2024 where teams will share documentation of their project-based learning journey with the community.
