What is Autism? An Overview of ASD

We will introduce participants to core characteristics of autism spectrum disorder (ASD), how it is identified, and provide some examples of Evidence-Based Practices. We will share resources and answer any questions about working with students with differences in social communication and restrictive repetitive behaviors.

A Certificate of Completion is available for virtual training, in-person training, Special Training Events, and Technical Assistance Projects. This may be used to document professional development hours or applied towards the credential requirements for Education Specialist Level II non-university activities.
