Kathy Parnay wins Team Player Award

Congratulations to Kathy Parnay, who has received the SCOE Team Player award for 2019. She will be honored in a special reception on May 20, 2019, at 4:00pm in the Gravenstein room. Kathy "models patience, kindness and a willingness to teach," according to her nomination, which included words of praise from many colleagues. One nominator wrote, "When you call Kathy she always asks how you are doing. It is this personal touch that makes it easy to know this SCOE employee is here to help others and she does it with a beautiful smile on her face. In education we want to model best practices for learning and Kathy Parnay exemplifies these keys for learning."
