Child Care Planning Council Appoints Full-Time Coordinator

The Child Care Planning Council of Sonoma County has appointed a new coordinator after restructuring the position over the last year, Interim Coordinator Missy Danneberg announced this week.
,p>The new coordinator is Susy Marron, who has worked as an early education program specialist for the council over the past four years. In that position, she has overseen the CARES program, developed the new QIRS CARES program, and managed numerous other projects.,/p>Susy has over 12 years of experience in the field of Early Childhood Education and has established positive working relationships with community partners over the years. The Child Care Planning Council's mission is to facilitate community collaboration, leadership, and advocacy to promote and plan for quality child care and development.
In her new position, which is part of SCOE's Instructional Services Department, Susy will ensure that the council continues to be a strong body that supports the development of high quality care and education programs where children are supported to reach their full potential.
"We are lucky to have her as coordinator as we move forward in this new phase for the planning council!" Danneberg said.
