About

SCOE convenes various administrator meeting groups with a goal of sharing information and creating cross-county collaborations among school administrators with similar job responsibilities. A monthly e-newsletter, SCOE Connections, is distributed to school administrators to provide the latest information about meetings, events, and administrator trainings.

Superintendent Meetings
District superintendents attend monthly Leadership 40 meetings and have the opportunity to participate in professional development through the Regional Executive Leadership Center (ELC) and regional/statewide conferences. More...

Alternative Education Directors | Sonoma County SARB
District representatives overseeing alternative education programs meet quarterly to discuss practice, network, and share resources. Each Alternative Education Directors meeting is followed by a Sonoma County SARB meeting. For information, contact Georgia Ioakimedes, (707) 524-2884.

Curriculum Council
District curriculum representatives meet four times per year to discuss instruction-related issues, legislation related to curriculum, and new state and local initiatives.Learn more about the Curriculum Council.

High School Principals Teaching and Learning
High school principals meet for breakfast conversations about common issues related to teaching and learning, Common Core Standards, student safety, and more. Meetings are held from 7:30 to 9:00am at SCOE. For information, contact Tara Beiden, (707) 522-315.

Human Resources Quarterly Meetings
District human resources directors meet four times per year to discuss HR topics, including credentialing, benefits, the AESOP absence and substitute system, legal updates, the HR components of Escape, etc. Meetings are held from 8:30 to 10:00am. Middle School Principals Teaching and Learning
At early morning breakfast meetings, middle school principals discuss common issues related to teaching and learning, Common Core Standards, student safety, and more. For information, contact Tara Beiden, (707) 522-3151.
