C&I Updates

  • CDE Technical Assistance: Title III and Title I Opportunity

  • Q&A Attendance Accounting Webinar

  • Question from the last meeting: In order to meet the requirement of SB 98 to provide in-person instruction to the extent possible, are districts required to open for in-person instruction when Sonoma County falls into the red tier?  SCLS response: SB 98 does allow districts to offer distance learning through the end of the year regardless of county tier status.

  • SPSA: SB 820 provides that all schools operating Title I, Part A SWP, including charter schools and single school districts (SSDs), must develop and approve a School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) for the 2020–21 school year.  Section 73 of SB 820 removes the requirement for charter schools and SSDs to establish a Schoolsite Council (SSC) in the 2020–21school year.  Instead, SSD and charter schools are required to use the stakeholder engagement outlined in SB 98 for the LCP.
