Supporting Pathways to Graduation for Newcomer Multilingual Students via AB2121 & SB532 Legislation 

April 23, 2024 | 9:30am- 11:00am 

EPiCC Zone C will be holding a virtual Community of Practice for high counselors of multilingual learners. This will be an opportunity for counselors from across the state to come together to learn about topics specific to effectively supporting Multilingual Learners and share best practices. The first session on April 23rd from 9:30-11:00am will focus on Supporting Pathways to Graduation for Newcomer Multilingual Students via AB2121 & SB532 Legislation.

Free Summer Tinker Academy 

Tinker Academy is a FREE program designed to engage and inspire middle school students in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Through hands-on maker activities that encourage the exploration and development of technical, mathematical and artistic abilities, participants will gain experience and confidence to set them up for success in school.

This program was originally called the “Girls Tinker Academy” and developed for girls with an aim to support girls, gender-expansive youth, and youth of color who are underrepresented in STEM fields. It is open to all students entering 6th, 7th, 8th, or 9th grades in Fall 2024.
